I used to hate to read because I read slow. Since my reading speed has improved I like to read much more. I feel that give my kids a more solid foundation of reading will help them all through their lives. I totally agree with Patricia. People who read slow usually hate to reading. Learning to speed read would be a great way to correct that. I would highly recommend it.
